Saris (curtains, cushion covers, wall hangings)
The sari is an extremely versatile item in Indian inspired home decor. These may be worn on the body as adornment as well as draped on a wall for visual beauty.  They come in a variety of fabrics and colors from luxurious silks to cottons and many have exquisite borders called pallu (this is the part that, when worn, is draped over the shoulder of the wearer).  The borders may be cut away from the sari and used for a variety of design purposes also; i.e., to line a cushion or garment.  Truly what you can do with the sari is endless only limited by your imagination especially if you are handy with a sewing machine and needle.
